On August 26, 2009 we signed an agreement to purchase a lot. Today 8 months and 2 days later the lot has been staked out and the actual house building begins. Getting to this point has taken much longer than we had anticipated. This is due to the fact that it is our first time through this process as we are doing what is called a self-build. The process we have completed was the part of house building that Rob was unfamiliar with.
So we will keep this blog updated on the progress. The digging is supposed to start on Monday.
